Inside:

Looks yummy! I'm just over in Van Meter, Iowa and we have the same frigid forecast of course, except I'm on a gravel road so I have the additional fun of limited plowing in my area. Oh joy, now if I can get to Johnston for work, it'll be a miracle.

You know, we're in the city, but in what I affectionately call "the armpit" of Des Moines. We're lucky if our streets get plowed 2 or 3 days after a snowfall!

Good luck on those gravel roads...

I am going to strangle you!! Why do I come to your blog. I love you, but I am so sad I am not a good baker and good cook. It is a rare quality to be both. Yummy dessert. Smiles.

It is *freezing* over here in CT too - though not as bad as for you (yet!), from what I hear on the news. Your kitchen sounds like the place to be, not just for the warmth but for the warm food and company :-)
